Formula Student UK . The competition run by the Mechanical Engineers Institution is the world’s largest student motorsport event and challenges student engineers to design, build and race a single seat racing car in one year. An onboard lap with Revolve NTNU on Silverstone. Best electric car on the endurance event, a 22 km race which measures speed, reliability and efficiency. Formula Student is an international level competition that’s been running for over 20 years now, backed by industry leaders like Mercedes-AMG, Bosch and even big names in motorsport like Ross Brawn. The event is organised by Institution of Mechanical Engineers and is held at Silverstone, hosting about a 100 teams from different universities across the globe each year. Formula Student takes place in Silverstone, home to the British Grand Prix plus numerous other automobile and cycling events.
